We must do better than Stephen McNeil's budget

Stephen McNeil’s Liberal government released its 2018-2019 budget today.  I will be providing a more detailed response on the budget as its debated in the legislature. As Progressive Conservative Health and Wellness critic, I will be participating especially in the review of that department’s spending during the estimates process.  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me here.

If you remember anything about this $10.8 billion budget, remember some of these facts, according to the Liberal government’s own budget documents (https://novascotia.ca/budget/documents/Budget-2018-19.pdf):

- Nova Scotia has lost thousands of jobs since 2013 under the Liberal government;
- Nova Scotia’s labour force has shrunk; and
- Nova Scotia is forecast to see half the level of economic performance as in the rest of Canada in 2018 and 2019.

We can do better.
We must do better.
Changing this reality is why I am running to be the Leader of the PC Party and Premier of Nova Scotia.
