BIG Change Needed - Now More Than Ever
Today the legislature reconvened with a Speech from the Throne that outlined Stephen McNeil’s agenda.
While there were positive individual stories in the speech, the reality for most Nova Scotians is not as rosy.
This summer, both Scotiabank & RBC said Nova Scotia would have the third-worst performing economy this year and the second-worst next year.
When Nova Scotians pay among the highest taxes in Canada, is it any wonder we suffer from low growth, fewer job opportunities and a weaker tax base?
Unfortunately, there was nothing in this speech offering help for hard pressed taxpayers - just a single paragraph of self-congratulations on a tax cut announced last year.
If Stephen McNeil won’t invest in our economy by lowering taxes for people and business, as PC Leader, I will seek a mandate from voters to deliver a Mega Tax Break.
Instead of a boutique tax measure that will only affect one group of product, my Mega Tax Break will lower taxes for ALL Nova Scotians.
Seniors, working professionals, those living on a low or fixed income, entrepreneurs - everyone will pay less under my plan.
Help me bring change for our party and our province by ensuring you have your membership by next Tuesday and making a donation to our campaign.
I ask you to support BIG change, starting with a Mega Tax Break.
